TO CREATE A FAIR FINANCIAL SOCIETY
A collaborative strong team, comprising of journalists, consumers and investors, is leading BJFCI to achieve the foundation’s objectives which is called National Organising Committee (NOC).
A 33-member NOC body has been formed with Faruk Ahmed, Economic Editor of The Daily 0bserver as Chairman and Md Enamul Haque, Special Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) as Secretary General.
Senior economic and financial journalists of leading dailies and media, who are working in the positions of Senior Reporter, Senior Sub-Editor, Chief Reporter, News Editor, Economic Editor, Business Editor, Executive Editor, Managing Editor and Joint Editor etc are the Members of BJFCI.
Editors, eminent economists, financial analysts and reputed social activists are the Honorary Members of BJFCI. Former journalists who are now working in reputed organizations engaged in consumer rights protection, investments, economic developments and communications are working with BJFCI as Associate Members.
All BJFCI members share same responsibilities and enjoy equal benefits and committed to work with the greatest possible integrity respecting to each other and being diverse and inclusive and independence from business and politics in line with the Article of Association and Constitution of BJFCI under the Society Act 1960.
Membership is proposed by the NOC body and finally approved by the Standing Committee after close observations based on professional and social integrity, honesty and attitudes towards consumers and investors. The number of members is limited by the constitution.
